Watching Airplanes...
A friend had his last flight in the F-15 the other day. The kids and I went to the squadron to join the party. I took the opportunity to take a few shots of the kiddos engrossed in the planes.

Soccer 2009
Finally, Claire got her wish... She joined a soccer team. Not surprisingly, she joined a boys team which Jeff was able to coach. Caleb played again in his division under a pair of new coaches. Connor and I sat in the Korea chairs juggling pretzels, water bottles, and the occasional frozen gatorade (Connor sends his thanks Mrs. Granville) topped with goldfish crackers. Let's not forget a certain someone drinking suntan lotion and finding his way past the forbidden white line onto the field multiple times (the field part, not the suntan lotion). I'm not mentioning any names though.

Just because they are cute...
This is a little play area the big kids created for Connor. He's in a big plastic bucket.
He stayed in there for a LONG time.
The kids taped big toys onto it and put tons of little toys into it.

Claire's Wipe out
Check out Claire's wipeout. She was unhurt...she only left her previously in-place band-aid on the asphalt. Watch Caleb use his Fred Flintstone Brake (Crocs).

Claire turns 4!
Claire turned 4 on June 5th! She got to choose what we had for dinner on her birthday and it was no surprise that we went to McDonald's for dinner. Afterwards she got to spend her birthday money from Mawmaw and Pawpaw at Target. Dora dishes were at the top of her list. On Saturday we had two families from church plus the grandparents join us for some lunch, swimming, and cake. Grandpa continued the tradition of providing a pinata for the kids. Let's just say...beware if you ever have a Dora pinata because she tends to break right at her neck leaving just her head attached to the rope hanging from the tree!!
